Update: Police said Sunday afternoon that Denney was located and returned home.

Vancouver police are seeking assistance from the public to help locate endangered Vancouver resident Richard Denney, who was last seen at home at around 8 a.m. Saturday, according to a press release from the Vancouver Police Department. Denney’s family stated that he suffers severely from Alzheimer’s disease and is incapable of caring for himself, police said.

Denney, 66, is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 160 pounds with gray hair and a beard, possibly wearing blue jeans and a black jacket with an airplane image on the back. Police ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 911.
