Battle Ground Elks get Gratitude Grant

The Battle Ground Elks Lodge #2589 recently received its second Gratitude Grant from the Elks National Foundation. The grant will allow the group to partner with Battle Ground Adventist Community Services’ Diaper Bank. At $2,000, the grant helped fund the organization’s July order for 30,000 diapers. The diaper bank provides diapers to clients who come into the food bank and works with other services including The Salvation Army, the Evergreen School District Resource Centers and Clark County Public Health. “We are excited to have this chance to partner with the BG ACS’s Diaper Bank, knowing these grants have a direct impact on families in our community,” the organization said in a statement announcing the grant.
