HOCKINSON — The Pink Fleet is growing. A weekly cruise-in event at Alderbrook Park on Aug. 20 served as the debut of two new pink trucks from Taylor Transport Inc. of Vancouver promoting the Pink Lemonade Project, which raises funds to support breast cancer awareness through the sale of pink recycling bins with Waste Connections of Washington. Pink Lemonade Project Board member Jeanne Firstenburg and Waste Connections’ Governmental and Community Affairs Director Cyndi Holloway were on hand to welcome those in attendance who came to see the trucks and promote donations to the nonprofit.
