Rock and brew

At the Clark County Historical Museum’s next Speaker Series event at 7 p.m. tonight, the museum teams up with 54°40’ Brewing to release a craft beer commemorating the 51st anniversary of the Sky River Rock Festival in 1970. The presentation will be at 54°40’ Brewing, 3801 S. Truman St. in Washougal. Admission is free and beer and food are available to buy. For details, call 360-993-5679 or visit cchmuseum.org.

Art al fresco

Downtown Camas will host its annual Plein Air and Art event from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Local artists will paint the downtown landscape from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., when their finished works will be displayed in front of Camas Gallery, 408 N.E. Fabric frolics

Aurora Gallery, 1004 Main St., Vancouver, is hosting “Clothesline,” kicking off with an artists’ reception 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Several local artists are participating in this textile-only show, which will be on exhibit until Sept. 30. Works will be displayed on a special clothesline feature in the main gallery. Artsy-craftsy

Portland’s Art in the Pearl Fine Arts and Crafts Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary with an in-person event on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, featuring over 100 acclaimed artists from the United States and Canada. The festival in Portland’s North Park Blocks in the Pearl District, on Northwest Eighth Avenue between Davis and Flanders, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
