Former Vancouver resident Yen Hoang finished the last of her three events at the Tokyo Paralympics on Wednesday, competing in the 400 meter wheelchair race.

A 2015 Evergreen High grad, Hoang finished fifth out of five athletes in her preliminary heat. The top three reached the finals.

On Tuesday, Hoang placed ninth in the 100 meters, finishing in 18.01 seconds.

Hoang’s highlight at the Tokyo Games came Sunday, when she recorded a personal-best time to reach the finals of the 800 meters, where she placed eighth.
