A house in Washougal’s Gibbons Creek Mobile Estates caught fire Wednesday morning, but the homeowner had much of the blaze extinguished before fire crews arrived, according to the Camas-Washougal Fire Marshal’s Office.
The Camas-Washougal Fire Department responded at 12:14 a.m. to the 4500 block of Addy Street.
The fire started on the outside of the house and caused about $25,000 in damage, according to the fire marshal’s office.
No one was injured. Crews mopped up the fire and checked for hot spots.
The fire marshal’s office has not determined the cause.
