Letter: Support LaBrant for port

By Peter Harrison, Vancouver
Published: October 31, 2021, 6:00am

When people run for office, you expect them to show up. Long before the 2015 Port of Vancouver election, Eric LaBrant and I were a regular presence at commission meetings. We attended because we care deeply about the port and its impact on our community.

Of 29 commission meetings held since the start of 2020, meeting minutes show Greg Siefert attended just one. Greg Siefert doesn’t care enough to show up.

Eric LaBrant has proven his interest and concern for the Port of Vancouver and the community it serves. LaBrant has earned both your vote and mine.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
