Ridgefield’s Ty Snider is Week 8 Northwest Personal Training prep football player of the week

Snider beats out Prairie's Alex Ford

Ty Snider of Ridgefield is the Northwest Personal Training Week 8 high school football player of the week.

Snider beat out Prairie’s Alex Ford for the honor.

Snider caught five passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns, threw a 30-yard touchdown pass and returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over R.A. Long.

Here are the Week 8 nominees:

ALEX FORD, PRAIRIE: Prairie rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass in the Falcons’ win over Evergreen.

MITCH JOHNSON, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Johnson passed for 152 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 65 yards and another touchdown in a win over Battle Ground.

JAYDON JONES, UNION: Jones rushed for two touchdowns, had an 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 66-yard reception for a touchdown in a win over Wenatchee.

CONNER NOAH, KELSO: Noah rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries in playoff-clinching win over Heritage.
