The 276-unit, eight-story apartment complex at Block 3 in The Waterfront Vancouver is on the rise, with one of two of the Waterfront’s tower cranes hoisting materials into place and workers pouring concrete.

The developer, Summit Development Group, based in Tigard, Ore., is calling the building Timberhouse, according to its website. It features 2,300 square feet of commercial space, as well as structured parking. The plans include “stackers” for high-density parking that mechanically lift the cars.

The Block 3 building is anticipated to be complete in October of next year, according to Summit’s website.
