A Vancouver woman was injured after being hit by a vehicle Thursday morning in Five Corners, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash was reported at 6:32 a.m. at the intersection of state Highway 503 and Northeast 99th Street.

Leah Olinger, 35, was crossing Highway 503 against a red crossing symbol. Anatoli Shula, 60, of Vancouver, was traveling west on 99th Street in a Toyota Sienna and had a green light to turn left onto southbound Highway 503 when he struck Olinger, a State Patrol crash memo said.

Olinger was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.

The hospital said she was in stable condition as of Thursday afternoon. Shula was not injured.

Troopers cited failure to yield to a traffic device as the cause of the crash.
