Community prevention coalitions and law enforcement agencies in Southwest Washington are collaborating to host drive-thru drug take-back events at seven locations in Clark, Skamania and Klickitat counties from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Prescription and over-the-counter medications in pill, liquid or inhaler will be accepted. Medications should be left in original containers, with labels attached, according to a press release. Medications not in an original container will be accepted.

Locations in Clark County are: PeaceHealth Southwest Urgent Care, 3400 Main St. (south back lot), Vancouver; Kaiser Permanente Orchards at 7101 N.E. 137th Ave., Vancouver; Battle Ground Police Department, 507 S.W. First St., Battle Ground; Washougal Silver Star Search & Rescue, 1220 A St., Washougal; Cowlitz Indian Tribal Public Safety Dept., 31501 N.W. 31st Ave., Ridgefield.

In Skamania County, the event will be at the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office, 200 Vancouver Ave., Stevenson.

In Klickitat County, go to the Goldendale United Methodist Church at 109 E. Broadway (church parking lot), Goldendale.

The Peacehealth Southwest Urgent Care site is the only location accepting sharps and syringes (noncommercial sources only). Additionally, all event sites except the Cowlitz Indian Tribal Public Safety Department will collect vape pens and e-cigarettes without batteries for disposal.
