Lincoln Victor’s first touchdown for Washington State came at a crucial time.

The junior from Union High hauled in a 14-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter of Washington State’s 31-24 win over Oregon State on Saturday. Victor’s TD gave the Cougars a 24-17 lead.

Victor caught five passes for 40 yards, both season high, along with a season-long reception of 18 yards..

Victor led Union to the 2018 Class 4A state championship. The then quarterback was named the Associated Press state player of the year in leading the Titans to a 14-0 record.

Victor played two years at Hawaii before transferring to WSU and reconnecting with head coach Nick Rolovich, who recruited Victor to Honolulu.
