Want to have a say in how the county deals with those annoying, blood-sucking pests known as mosquitoes? The Clark County Council is looking to fill two volunteer positions on the Mosquito Control District’s Board of Trustees.

One position is available in Districts 1 and 3 each. A district map is on the county’s website. Terms for both positions are Jan. 1, 2022, through Dec. 31, 2023.

The board establishes policy, manages expenditures and approves contracts for services. Clark County Public Health provides administrative services for the district.

The board meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of February, May, August and November. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and are held virtually.

For more information, go to https://clark.wa.gov then go to Public Health.
