Letter: Support LaBrant for port

By Janet Landesberg, Vancouver
Published: October 7, 2021, 6:00am

Relevant work experience and skills are good predictors of job success. That’s why Eric LaBrant should be reelected as Port of Vancouver commissioner.

Commissioners must work together to balance economic, environment, and community considerations. Eric has demonstrated his ability to work collaboratively to achieve this balance, helping to develop and adopt a new strategic plan.

2020 was a challenging year in terms of COVID-19, but the port posted its most successful year to date, with a 15 percent increase in revenue from the previous year. Eric’s experience in port management will serve the public well if he is reelected.
