The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying people believed to be involved in thefts over the past week.

Police responded Monday to reports of an armed robbery at the Beverage Tobacco Zone, 11320 N.E. 49th St., in the North Image neighborhood. Officers said the man captured on surveillance video displayed a handgun and robbed the store of cash and merchandise.

  • Two men were captured on surveillance video breaking into a shed in the 3110 block of Northeast 42nd Street and stealing thousands of dollars worth of tools, police said.

Anyone with information about the two in the video can contact Officer Bret Olson at bret.olson@cityofvancouver.us.

  • Police are also looking for a man who broke into coin operated machines at the Mill Plain Self Service Car Wash at 6600 E. Mill Plain Blvd.
