Liam Clark scored 25 points but Clark College lost to Columbia Basin 79-73 on Monday at O’Connell Center.
Clark, sophomore forward from Port Angeles, shot 12 for 14 from the field and also had 11 rebounds. His 25 points tied a career high set in the 2019-20 season.
After trailing 25-28 at halftime, Clark was within 71-69 within the last five minutes. But Columbia Basin went on an 8-0 run to hold off the Penguins (1-1).
