The Vancouver Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating an armed robbery Tuesday morning at the Beverage Tobacco Zone in east Vancouver, the agency said.
Police responded at 4:55 a.m. to the store at 11320 N.E. 49th St., in the North Image neighborhood. Four people stole money and merchandise, and one person displayed a handgun, police department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said in an email.
Police had not arrested anyone as of Tuesday. Kapp did not have an estimate for the value of items stolen.
