Rescue crews helped one person to the hospital Saturday afternoon after the person had driven a quad off a trail and into a ravine near Jones Creek Campground.
East County Fire and Rescue responded at 12:10 p.m. to the area of Northeast Jones Creek Road and L-1600 Road. Camas-Washougal Fire and a tech rescue team from the Vancouver Fire Department also responded.
Chief Mike Carnes said it was challenging to locate the person among the trail system and without cell phone access.
Crews found the person conscious and alert, Carnes said. The person was transported to a hospital.
Crews had left the scene by 4 p.m.
