Ridgefield High School presents “Radium Girls,” showing at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday at 2630 S. Hillhurst Road, Ridgefield. Set in 1926 and inspired by a true story, the play follows Grace Fryer, who paints radium onto watches to make them glow — until the factory girls get sick. Patriotic party
North Clark Historical Museum will host a veterans celebration from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Valley Grange #79, 40107 N.E. 221st Ave., Amboy. Ice cream and cookies will be followed by remarks from retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Colonel Ward A. Holcomb, plus music, quilt raffles, a pie auction and information about the Lions Club.
