NORTH SALMON CREEK — Skyview High School student Colleen Scott was one of 250 students in the United States awarded the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. The exchange program, known as CBYX, is co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and German Bundestag (Parliament). Conditions permitting, Scott will live in Germany from August 2021 to June 2022. Scott will experience German life while living with a host family and attending a German high school. Each year ASSE International awards the scholarship to 50 high-achieving high school students from 10 states, allowing a full cultural immersion experience. Students and families interested in receiving more information about hosting a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship winner from Germany or becoming a host family should call 1-800-333-3802 or visit www.asse.com.
