Fire damaged a shop early Sunday morning north of Battle Ground.

Clark County Fire District 3 and Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue responded at 12:13 a.m. to a report of a shop fire near Northeast Lucia Falls Road and 295th Circle, Fire District 3 Fire Capt. Jason Mansfield said.

Engine 33 was the first to arrive on scene and found a working fire in an outbuilding with defensive fire conditions, Mansfield said.

Crews quickly knocked down the fire but remained on scene for about four hours to complete overhaul, he said.

There were no reported injuries.

The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
