Letter: Share info about vaccinations

By Chris Tobkin, Vancouver
Published: May 7, 2021, 6:00am

Comprehensive coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic in Clark County should also include the number of fully vaccinated citizens. We see the number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths at the top of every report. But without simultaneously reporting the number of vaccinations, the picture is incomplete. This is true not only of The Columbian’s reporting, but also of all other state and national reports on COVID-19. What is the point of pushing for everyone to be fully vaccinated if vaccination progress is not emphasized? We need to know we are making progress, and that the number of people who could be infected is shrinking.
