The Union Titans boys tennis team dominated the 4A Greater St. Helens League throughout this unique season.

The last match was a bit of a grind.

The Titans received one more big test Friday and they passed with a hard-fought 4-2 win over Camas to capture the 4A GSHL title.

Four of the six matches went three sets, and Rohan Thawani of Union needed a second-set tiebreaker before prevailing 6-3, 7-6 (4).

Union’s James Berthau and Gabe Hapke won at No. 1 doubles 6-1, 5-7, 10-5; Peter Lin won at No. 3 singles for Union 6-2, 3-6, 6-2; and Camas’ Julian McOmie and Aidan McOmie took the No. 3 doubles match 5-7, 6-3, 10-8.

Union No. 1 singles Jacob Flentke finished the season with just one loss after a 6-0, 6-0 victory Friday.
