VANCOUVER MALL – To extend the celebration of International Women’s Day, Vancouver Mall hosted a two-day pop-up store called Boujee Vegan Girl in its MyPerks Lounge. The pop up was the “realization of a dream-come-true for 10-year-old lip gloss entrepreneur Amira Ashley, affectionately known as ‘the Boss with the Gloss,'” according to a news release. Ashley started selling lip gloss in November 2020; her products quickly sold out. “Holding a pop-up store in a well-known shopping center like Vancouver Mall will give this burgeoning entrepreneur a taste of what a brick-and-mortar location can do for her woman-owned and operated business, and it takes her one step closer to her goal of selling Boujee Vegan Girl lip gloss in stores,” the release said. The mall’s pop-up program provides a way for small local businesses to connect with their customers in a physical, environment. Businesses interested in holding their own pop-up at Vancouver Mall should contact Mary Dunn, the shopping center’s specialty leasing manager, at mdunn@centennialrec.com.
