Clark County reported four new deaths from COVID-19 and 34 new cases in data released Thursday by Clark County Public Health.
The deaths were a man in his 40s, a woman in her 70s and a man and a woman age 80 or older, according to Public Health, which reported that all four had underlying health conditions.
The deaths, which are usually added to the county’s tally 10 to 12 days after they occur, push the Clark County death toll from COVID-19 to 236, according to Public Health data.
The 34 new COVID-19 cases put Clark County’s total at 18,913. There has been an average of about 34 new cases per day since Friday, about the same as last week.
There were 280 active cases in isolation as of Thursday, up from 268 on Wednesday, according to Public Health data. Hospitalizations rose slightly, with 22 people hospitalized with COVID-19, up from 18 on Wednesday, and nine people hospitalized awaiting test results, up from one on Wednesday.
