Friends of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge is hosting a spring break youth art contest, open to kindergarten through eighth-grade students in Clark County and the Portland metro area. The contest opens April 5 and the last day to submit art is April 11. Three submissions are allowed per participant.

Original artwork must depict an animal, plant, landscape or other feature of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.

For contest details, visit ridgefieldfriends.org.

At the end of April, winners will be announced in three groups: kindergarten through fourth grade; fifth and sixth grades; and seventh and eighth grades. Winners’ artwork will be posted online and used in promotional materials.
