WOODLAND — The Woodland Chamber of Commerce recently awarded its Citizen of the Year, Employee of the Year, and Business of the Year awards. Citizen of the Year was Joy Asmussen, who serves on the board for a number of organizations. Codi Arnold, an employee of the Woodland Safeway, was named Employee of the year. Finally, The Woodland Corner Store, owned by Anthony Kasziewicz, was named Business of the Year. It recently expanded to offer a full deli and espresso. “Even though 2020 was a very odd year for everyone, we did not want to let our great community go a year without these wonderful people and business being recognized and awarded as they deserve,” a news release said. Chamber board members surprised the winners at their places of work with balloons and flowers. Learn more at www.woodlandwachamber.com.
