Vancouver Public Schools is seeking applicants for the Board of Directors’ Position 2, a position vacated by Camara Banfield, who resigned from the board after her appointment to the Clark County Superior Court in January.
Applications are due at noon March 15, and the new director is sworn in April 13. Applications can be found at www.vansd.org, at the Jim Parsley Administrative Center or by calling 360-313-1200.
People applying to serve on the board must live within the Vancouver Public Schools boundaries and be eligible to vote. The appointment to Position 2 on the school board is temporary until November 2021 when it will be open for election.
