Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington will host its annual Sam Beall breakfast fundraiser as a one-day virtual event on May 13.

The event, named after one of the Free Clinic’s founders, Dr. Sam Beall, raises money to help uninsured people in Southwest Washington receive free health care.

Tune in at https://freeclinics.org to view a video of the work the Free Clinic is doing during a pandemic. The fundraiser includes the chance to win great prizes when you sign up to support the Free Clinic. Register for free at https://freeclinics.org. The goal is to raise $25,000.

“During these times of uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we need to counter this with warmth and love. This perspective is guiding our efforts as we prepare to host our Sam Beall virtual event,” said Pam Knepper, Free Clinic Communications, development and outreach manager. “We want to foster inclusion, camaraderie, and kinship amidst widespread social distancing. There is no better way to honor the community-building spirit on which the Free Clinic was founded more than 30 years ago.”
