WEST MINNEHAHA — Dozens gathered for a Memorial Day observance starting at 11 a.m. Monday outside of the Smith-Reynolds American Legion Post 14.
Those in attendance included veteran members of the Post, American Legion Post Commander Eddie Bogle, American Legion Auxiliary President Gloria Cummings, Boys Scouts and American Legion Riders.
The program ended with a solemn playing of taps.
