Prosecutors have filed charges against 10 people accused of causing property damage during Portland protests, Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced Friday.

Maximilian Jennings, James Prettyman and Thomas Moll-Rocek are accused of causing more than $1,000 in damage to the Multnomah County Democrats’ headquarters on Northeast Sandy Boulevard on Nov. 8. They face single counts of riot, first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal mischief.

Jennings, 23, Prettyman, 25, and Moll-Rocek, 34, were initially arrested after the building was damaged. Prosecutors said Friday the three cases were reinstated after law enforcement completed investigative follow-up.

Six more cases were also reinstated last week, bringing riot charges against Kai-Ave Douvia, Austin Nuchraksa, Nichole Rose, Darrell Kimberlin, Jean Paris and Kyle Romstad in a Jan. 20 incident that caused more than $1,000 in damage to the Democratic Party of Oregon building on Northeast Ninth Avenue. All six face additional charges.

Douvia, a 23-year-old Portland resident also accused of damaging a Starbucks on Nov. 2, is charged with one count of first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree criminal mischief.

Nuchraksa, 25, of McMinnville, is also charged with one count of first-degree criminal mischief, one count of second-degree criminal mischief and four counts of unlawful possession of a destructive device.

Rose, 25, of Portland; Kimberlin, 31, of Portland; Paris, 19, of Albany; and Romstad, 22, of Portland, are all charged with one count of first-degree criminal mischief and one count of second-degree criminal mischief.

Sean Lopez is accused of throwing a rock through a window of a Northwest 23rd Avenue Starbucks store on April 23.

Lopez, 26, of Portland, is also accused of throwing a rock at someone who was using a cellphone to record a protest gathering.

Lopez is charged with one count of second-degree attempted assault, one count of first-degree burglary, one count of unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of first-degree criminal mischief.

Portland police arrested Lopez on May 29 at a downtown demonstration.
