Downtown Camas’ next First Friday event, “Unicorns and Rainbows,” gets June off to a colorful start with unicorn costumes, kids crafts, unicorn and rainbow-themed games with prizes, a ribbon-cutting, a new store opening, art shows and after-hours shopping from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Salmon Creek Farmers’ Market opens Tuesday in a new location, the southeast side of the Kaiser Permanente parking lot at 14406 N.E. 20th Ave. in Salmon Creek. The market will be open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday through Oct. 5 with produce, flowers, honey, nut butters and baked goods from local producers.
