The Ridgefield Raptors took a break from West Coast League play with a walkoff win against the Redmond Dudes at Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex. Brady Kasper’s two-out single drove in Caden Connor from second base, setting off a celebration for a team that ended a recent six-game road trip with fourth straight losses.

KEY MOMENTS: Down in the count 1-2, Kasper (Oregon State) drove a line drive into center field to score Connor. It was just Ridgefield’s second base hit of the game.

KEY PLAYERS: Parker Goin threw four innings of relief, striking out eight and walking one. He, starter Jett Lodes and winning pitcher Ben Lake held Redmond to six hits.

NEXT GAME: Non-league: Highline Bears at Ridgefield, 6:35 p.m. today.
