The Clark County Auditor’s Office will open a special filing period from 8 a.m. Aug. 4 to 5 p.m. Aug. 6 for Position 5 on the Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue Board of Commissioners.
No candidate filed for the office during the previous filing period in May.
Any voter residing within the Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue District is qualified to file. Anyone wishing to file can do so at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver.
Candidates may also file online at clarkvotes.org. Online filing hours are 9 a.m. Aug. 4 to 4 p.m. Aug. 6.
