Ron Onslow, a member of the Ridgefield City Council, was reelected to the Association of Washington Cities board of directors. Onslow represents District 5, which includes 26 cities and towns across five counties. A member of the Ridgefield City Council for 14 years, he was reelected during the association’s meeting on June 24. The Association of Washington Cities is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation that represents Washington’s cities and towns before the state Legislature and elsewhere. Lisa Brandl was recently promoted to deputy city manager of enterprise services at the city of Vancouver. Promoted from her role as the deputy finance director, Brandl previously was employed as chief operating officer for Riverside, Calif. She replaces Brian Carlson, who will retire after 20 years with the city.
