Detectives seek public’s help finding possible witnesses to fatal July 11 crash in Hockinson

Detectives with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit are seeking the public’s assistance locating two vehicles whose drivers may be witnesses to a July 11 fatal crash in Hockinson.

The crash fatally injured Nicholas A.W. Crown, 35, of Hockinson.

Jaxon Jondahl, 20, of Battle Ground has been arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide and other charges in connection with Crown’s death.

Investigators are seeking the drivers of two vehicles seen on a surveillance camera in the area of the crash just before or immediately after the crash, which occurred around 10 p.m. in the 17200 block of Northeast 159th Street.

One image shows a white or silver smaller SUV pulling a travel-trailer west on Northeast 159th Street, just west of the crash scene.

A second image shows a white or silver late-model coupe that was driving west on Northeast 159th Street, then turned around and drove back toward the crash scene.
