RIDGEFIELD — Beginning this school year, a collaboration between Ridgefield School District’s Early Learning Center and Educational Opportunities for Children and Families program will broaden preschool offerings.

Through the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program, children who are ages 3 through 5 and experiencing developmental or environmental factors, or whose families meet income eligibility requirements, will be welcome to apply.

“Early learning opportunities help children reach their full potential,” Nathan McCann, superintendent of the Ridgefield School District, said in a news release. “We are pleased to have this opportunity to expand access to early learning to more children and families in our community.”

Registration is open. Visit www.eocfwa.org to enroll or find answers to questions. For questions about Ridgefield School District’s Early Learning Center, contact Erika Muir at 360-619-1333 or erika.muir@ridgefieldsd.org.
