A Vancouver woman, who crashed into a parked car while driving a motorcycle in a Hockinson parking lot Sunday, was taken to the hospital with multiple severe injuries, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Office deputies and EMS personnel were dispatched around 10 p.m. Sunday to 10905 N.E. 172nd Ave. for reports of a crash between a motorcycle and a car.

Yekaterina Andriuschenko, 20, asked to drive her friend’s motorcycle where she and a group of people were gathered in a park, the sheriff’s office stated. She accelerated rapidly in the parking lot and crashed into a parked car.

She was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle, according to deputies.

The sheriff’s office’s traffic unit is investigating the crash.
