Four Cowlitz pitchers held the Raptors to four hits, and despite giving up the tying run in the top of the ninth, the Black Bears got two big hits in the bottom of the 11th for the win Saturday to take a 2-1 lead in the Columbia River Cup series between the West Coast League rivals.
KEY MOMENTS: John Peck’s sacrifice bunt helped bring in the tying run for the Raptors in the top of the ninth, and he started a double play to get out of the bottom of the inning tied 2-2.
KEY PLAYERS: Dawson Martin hit a one-out double in the 11th, and Matty Fung followed with the game-winning hit for the Black Bears.
