WASHOUGAL — The Lunchmoney Indoor Skatepark received a $2,625 donation from members of 100 Women Who Care Clark County on June 18. Advisory Board Chair Deanna Rusch nominated the organization to receive funds at the group’s May meeting, noting she was an avid skateboarder in her youth and wants to provide a safe and positive indoor skateboard and scooter environment for all ages and abilities. “Here at the Lunchmoney Indoor Skateboard Park we are big believers that skateboarding promotes self-confidence and creativity,” founder and president John Henrikson said in a news release. “These funds from the 100 Women group will help us offer more scholarships to those kids who can’t afford our fees,” said co-founder and vice president Rochelle Ramos. Founded in 2018, 100 Women Who Care Clark County meets quarterly and has a mission to donate to support local nonprofit organizations.
