Pu-Kai “Phil” Tseng of Union High School, Camas, is one of six students nationwide accepted into the Accelerated Pathway to Medical Education, or APME, program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. APME students are guaranteed entry to the University of Arizona Honor College and early admission to the College of Medicine. The program also waives the Medical College Admission Test requirement for medical school admission. Tseng will begin classes this August.
