A 16-year-old Vancouver boy was arrested Saturday and accused of a murder in Clackamas County last week.
The suspect, whose name was not released, is believed to have shot and killed a 16-year-old victim, with whom he was acquainted, whose body was found Tuesday evening in a car at the northbound French Prairie Rest Area along Interstate 5. The victim’s name has not been released, but he is also from Washington, police said.
The suspect was arrested Saturday by Oregon State Police and the Vancouver Police Department, according to Oregon authorities.
He was lodged in the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of murder, assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
