Missing endangered Vancouver woman found in Battle Ground

The Vancouver Police Department reported Friday evening that a 76-year-old Vancouver woman who went missing Thursday afternoon has been located and returned to her family.

Donna Jean Burns was last was last seen about 2:30 p.m. in the in the 4600 block of Northeast 112th Avenue in Vancouver, according to police. She left in a yellow 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser, with Washington license plate ACJ9592, driving to the 7600 block of Fourth Plain.

A VPD press release Friday evening said Burns was located in Battle Ground and returned to her family. 

 The earlier bulletin said Burns’ age, health and mental capacity indicate that she may have trouble returning home without assistance.
