A severe weather notice has been issued for Tuesday night in Vancouver by the Housing Solution Center, Council for the Homeless.

There is a chance for snow and rain overnight in and around Clark County.

Emergency shelters are asked to expand capacity on severe weather nights if there is need.

People seeking shelter can call the Housing Hotline at 360-695-9677 between 9 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends for shelter referrals as additional shelter space may open.

Living Hope Church, 2711 N.E. Andresen Road in Vancouver, will be providing a nighttime warming center, and no referral is needed. It will be open from 7 p.m. Tuesday through 7 a.m. Wednesday. Walk-ins are welcome all night.
