Bus service has officially come to The Waterfront Vancouver. On Sunday, C-Tran bus Route 71 began following a new route that loops through the Waterfront as it passes through downtown. The revised route includes two bus stops along Columbia Way, one at the intersection with Columbia Street and the other about one block east of Grant Street. The bus will use a detour route through the Waterfront at first because one block of Columbia Way is closed due to construction, but will maintain service at both Waterfront stops. Route 71 runs along the Main Street and Highway 99 corridor between downtown Vancouver and the 99th Street Transit Center.
