MINNEHAHA — The no-kill shelter Furry Friends announced that it had a historic year in 2020. The year saw more adopted cats and kittens than any other in the nonprofit’s 21-year history, at 380. “There were several reasons for the increase in 2020. One was the pandemic itself. People were looking for companion pets. Even many of our hard-to-place cats found homes,” a news release said.
