A teenage boy was arrested Saturday night after allegedly firing shots during a confrontation at an apartment in Vancouver’s Fircrest neighborhood.

Vancouver police were called shortly before 11:30 p.m. for a reported disturbance with a weapon at The Park at Mill Plain, 206 N.E. 126th Ave. Multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunfire, Vancouver police Sgt. Erik Jennings said.

Several units responded and contacted a number of people who were apparently at a party at a residence. Police learned there was a confrontation between an adult male and teenage boy, Jennings said.

The juvenile fired two rounds that went into the apartment’s floor, Jennings said. No one was injured.

He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm, Jennings said.
