A man was stabbed near East 39th Street in Vancouver on Saturday.
The victim, a 19-year-old, reportedly told a passerby that he had been stabbed at around 4 p.m. The passerby called 911 and the Vancouver Police Department, the Vancouver Fire Department and AMR responded.
The victim did not cooperate with investigators, according to Vancouver Police Department Sgt. James Burgara, and would not describe the attack that left him with a stab wound. Police didn’t immediately identify any suspects.
“The case is still under investigation, but that is all we have at the moment,” Burgara said an hour after the attack.
The victim was transported to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries.
