A mass vaccination site at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds will not open until noon Friday due to expected winter weather conditions, according to a statement from the Washington State Department of Health.

The statement said people with a Friday morning appointment will still be able to get their COVID-19 vaccine. Operating hours will be from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Saturday hours have been extended.

“If your appointment is impacted by the weather, or you do not feel safe driving to the fairgrounds at your scheduled vaccine time, staff on-site will accept your appointment anytime during operating hours Friday or Saturday,” the statement said. “Your vaccine will be waiting for you. Please remember, your health and safety is our No. 1 priority.”
