New role for Rojo the Llama at Washington School for the Blind in Vancouver

A taxidermied Rojo the Llama stands as the centerpiece of the Washington School for the Blind’s Sensory Safari on Thursday in Vancouver. Rojo, a cherished therapy animal in Clark County, died in 2019 at age 17. A frequent visitor to the School for the Blind, Rojo found his way back after death. He was brought in on Wednesday after his taxidermy was completed by Vancouver Taxidermy. In the Sensory Safari, students will have a chance to understand the size of a llama and the texture of its hair.
